Jesse was born in Anaconda, Montana and graduated from Anaconda High School in 1989. Jesse attended the University of Montana in Missoula graduating in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science in Physics. He then attended the University of Montana School of Law, graduating in 1997.

Upon graduating from law school in 1997, Jesse moved to Butte, Montana and practiced at the Corette, Pohlman & Kebe law firm. In 2002, Jesse returned to Missoula to continue his law career with Phillips & Bohyer, Spoon & Gordon and finally, Bohyer,Simpson & Tranel, P.C.  In 2009 he became a partner in the firm.

Jesse is admitted to practice in all Montana State and Federal Courts. He is a member of the State Bar of Montana, the Western Montana Bar Association, the Montana Defense Trial Lawyers’ Association and the American Bar Association. Jesse has a CV rating in Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory. His areas of practice primarily cover insuranse defense, insurance coverage issues, insurance coverage opinions, personal injury, wrongful discharge and human rights violations.

Jesse and his wife, Erin, enjoy spending time with their daughter Brooklynn, hunting, fishing, camping, hiking and enjoying the outdoors of Western Montana.
