Fred Simpson
Fred Simpson has been in the private practice of law in Missoula, Montana since he graduated from the University of Montana School of Law in 1995. Before attending law school, Fred earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Idaho.
Upon graduating from law school in 1995, Fred joined Phillips & Bohyer. In 2008, Fred became a shareholder in Bohyer, Simpson & Tranel, P.C. Fred’s practice includes general tort defense, insurance coverage, insurance coverage defense, defense of unfair trade practices claims and real property litigation.
Fred is admitted to practice in all State and Federal Courts of Montana, the Confederated Salish & Kootenai Tribal Court and the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. Fred has tried cases in the State and Federal Courts of Montana and the Confederated Salish & Kootenai Tribal Court. He has also argued before the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. Fred is a member of the Western Montana Bar Association and the State Bar of Montana. Fred has a BV rating in Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory.
